This causes concern about the waterproof/rainproof nature of the tent.
#White duck prota canvas tent windows
The windows open from the top and must be rolled inward on themselves to keep any dust, sand or pollen from coming into the tent. Money I wish I had not spent, all things considered. Again, for the cost- why cut corners on the awning? If I remember correctly the price difference between the standard and deluxe is a couple hundred dollars. What that means is that eventually the entire awning will likely become mottled with mildew and will be unusable. While yes, there are methods to control the mildew, it’s a tenacious creature that is extremely difficult to eradicate completely. It runs the entire 14’ width of the tent, right close to the seam that joins the awning to the tent. My second complaint is that the canvas awning is beginning to mildew. Those too will need replacing since we do leave the tent up for six months at a time. When we took the tent down we were saddened to find that the larger sturdier pegs had significant corrosion and rust. Sure, tent pegs aren’t too expensive but it’s the idea that we had to buy new ones at all, considering the cost. I would have thought that for the $900+ dollars spent on this tent that the pegs would be of better quality. The smaller ones were immediately bent and therefore unusable on the first set up.

16 Large pegs for the ground sheet and 16 smaller ones for the sides. The tent pegs that came with the tent were of two sizes. Now it’s been up for six months and I have some reasonable concerns.

My initial impressions were that it’s was of fine quality and well made.
